Reader,

Today, we're exploring something essential and influential in our lives: health. More than just the absence of illness, health is the robust armor we build to confront life's challenges and triumph over them.

Over the past year, my family and I have faced our share of health scares and challenges. Despite our longstanding dedication to maintaining our health, setbacks have been inevitable. However, we've learned that resilience is just as critical as the commitment to staying healthy.

Thanks to modern medicine and our unwavering commitment to what Peter Attia refers to as Medicine 3.0 - a focus on preventing chronic illness and disease - we've managed to weather these challenges with remarkable results.

I find it bewildering when I come across individuals laboring relentlessly for a paycheck, yet neglecting their health. I come from humble beginnings and fully understand the pressures and demands of a "real job". But let me pose this question to you: if you don't have your health, what do you have?

Further, even if you own your house, what good is that if you lack strong relationships, a sense of community, or a meaningful purpose? At the end of the day, we need to strike a balance in all aspects of our lives to truly achieve what we're after - which, I firmly believe, is not mere happiness but profound fulfillment.

Let's dive deeper into this.

Much of the wellness discourse online chases unending happiness. And while happiness - the state of feeling good - is wonderful, I don't believe it's the ultimate goal we should strive for.

My experiences have shown me that growth and fulfillment are the true drivers that keep us going. Happiness can be transient, even artificially induced at times, but the deep sense of worth derived from meaningful engagement with life tends to overshadow any temporary feelings.

To achieve this enduring joy and fulfillment, we need to have a purpose and the ability to execute. And, without our health, execution is impossible. Your health is not just a prerequisite for survival - it is a key that unlocks your potential and allows you to chase your dreams unencumbered.

Our journey towards fulfillment begins with prioritizing our health, striking a balance in our lives, and identifying what brings us deep-seated contentment. Here's to a bulletproof life built on the bedrock of good health and filled with purpose-driven fulfillment!

The three key areas of health I've been exploring, and their relationship to living a long and healthy life, are strength, cardiovascular fitness, and stability.

As we go down this road in future newsletters I'm going to share what I've learned in the relm of health as well as what questions I still have.

I want to hear from you on this topic. If you have a story to share or questions about health let me know by replying to this email (yes, they go directly to me)

Stay resilient, stay inspired, and here's to living a bulletproof life!

Ben
